Live simply
Live simply,
learn to love what you actually have
get only what you really need
and if you want
get it because you desire it
and not told that you should.
Learn to throw away what you don't need
for many trash there lives with keeping what is never used,
sadly,
we live in a world were there can be too much
it can bury one alive,
filling living spaces with clutter
unable to move freely in ones own home,
so decern,
and live simply.

I like it.
I conducted the funeral today for Billy. He was 70 years of age. The word I used to describe him was "simple". I explained that such did not mean he was not a man of substance. He was complicated, as really all persons will be once you get to know their nuances and personalities. But he chose to live a simple life. Not a lot of toys. Not a lot of people around him. Not a lot of accomplishments. He was happy with simple things, with no need to impress others. I told the congregation he, therefore, lived a good and meaningful life.
I miss Billy.
