Breathe
Oxygen to the lungs
is love for the soul,
without breathe the soul dies
writhing in agony seeking release.
Rage, hatred, revenge sort after;
anything to fill the soul,
the bottomless void that exist
when light is gone.
Humanity ceases
only remnants screaming
choking on the airless darkness
that no one hears.
