New Beginnings
Winter stills fights the coming of spring,
Cold nights opening up to very warm days,
Blossoms everywhere,
Wonderful,
The insects in such profusion after they awake,
Are not yet here,
Allowing unimpeded enjoyment of the reborn beauty
So powerfully making itself known,
This explosion of life and new beginnings.
Some trees still sleep,
Soon they to will awaken, exploding with green,
A color so common,
Yet whose refreshing beauty never tires the eye.
