Emotions arise,
Often unbidden, unwelcome,
Experienced as intrusive, disturbing,
Havoc being the fruit for some,
Healing for others.

For most a passing phenomena,
Rising like mist over a quiet lake.
Rising, felt, soon to be dissipated,
Or so it seems.

When....

In reality they are often buried,
Forgotten until next time
When awakened from slumber
A more  powerful eruption occurs
Leaving those in the way overwhelmed with its intensity.

For healing or wounding,
Emotions easily dissipated,
or so it seems to many,
Or ignored at ones own peril.
