The walls close, The inner scream So deafening Heard by no one Outside What was once safe and warm, Now becomes cold, and dark. The outer shell Becomes a prison With no way out. The boundaries, Hardened, Built over the years Becomes a state of being Enclosed, and self absorbed. In the deepest center No matter how dark the state Dwells light The loving glance Of the presence Waiting, Infinite patience; Content To be with the one loved From eternity. |
