I resist,
Keep busy,
With this and that.
The Lord pursues,
I run,
To that which distracts…..
Afraid to sit still.
The Lord loves.
I accept,
Though my wounds
Heal slowly.
Hopefully one day
I will not need to keep busy,
Will not run to this, and that,
And truly accept the love offered.
Surrender,
Is difficult,
More so
Than people think.

Yes it is. I so agree. About six years ago I came to the realization that TV was way too much of a distraction for me as far as my relationship with the Lord went. I gave it up. I happen to be moving to another state and made the decision to leave the TV's with others. One of the best choices I have ever made. :)
