The word became flesh

12.24.05 (3:42 am)   [edit]

The Word became flesh,
became one of us,
dwelt with us,
suffered like us,
and with us.
Loved in the face of hatred;
forgave the injustice
that was dealt out,
experienced life fully,
embraced all that entailed.
Loved, healed, encouraged;
became angry when necessary
but did it all out of love, and concern,
for wayward mankind.
A race that does not know its left hand from its right.
It is a joy for us
to be loved in such a manner,
that the infinite,
the wholly other,
put on our human nature
and intercedes for us before the Father of lights.
Fear is useless what is needed is faith.
