The soft night


Late, dark


After midnight


A large fire


Coffee, strong and black


Laughter and love


Family just being together


On the beach


The soft sound of rolling waves


The ocean smell


Going for slow walks


The stars


You could almost touch them


Alone peaceful


Walking the beach


Playing tag with the waves


Being a child


Unselfconscious, a relief


I always am


When alone
